On August 22, 2019 VRFA crews responded to a report of a vehicle down an embankment. On arrival at Lake Tapps Parkway and East Valley Highway crews discovered a vehicle with one female driver approximately 50 yards down the hill. Crew made their way to the vehicle and evaluated the patient. She was stabilized then brought to the top of the hill with the VRFA Mule. She was then evaluated by King County Medic One who transported her to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
