When planning your celebrations keep in mind that over 19,500 fires are started by fireworks each year according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  Also, children ages 10-14 have the highest rate of fireworks injuries with sparklers accounting for approximately one quarter of emergency room fireworks injuries. Please take steps to keep you and your family safe.
