A mobile home fire in the White River Estates resulted in one fatality this morning. The double-wide mobile home is a total loss.

Firefighters were called to the 4200 block of A St. SE in Auburn at approximately 6:40 a.m. and found smoke and flames coming from a mobile home. The fire was called in by a neighbor. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and upon searching the home, found the deceased individual.

The fire is under investigation.
