It is fun to play in the water, but be sure and keep safe. Read the safety tips below and watch the video to learn more.  Then, do the activities below.

• Wear a life jacket when you are on a boat, raft or inner tube. Wear a life jacket when on a dock or in a lake or river. Always wear a life jacket around water if you are learning to swim.
• Ask a grown-up before going in or near the water.
• Always swim with a buddy and have a grown-up watch you.
• Learn to swim and keep practicing with a grown-up.
