Join us for our first online Kids Safety Academy
Join us for our first online Kids Safety Academy! Due to COVID-19, all of the summer community events we attend have been cancelled. To make up for this we are bringing the fun to you at home. Each week, over the next six weeks we will introduce new safety topics and fun learning activities on our website. At the end of each week, print out the completion certificate. After completing all six weeks of the Safety Academy, your child is eligible to join us for a to-be-determined celebration where they will receive their graduation prize.
Does your child have to turn in completed activities? No, but we would love to hear how it’s going.
Don’t have a printer? No problem, call us or email us at public.info@vrfa.org and we will provide you a packet of the handouts and certificates.
I know a family that would like to participate but doesn’t have internet access, can they participate? Yes, call us or email us at public.info@vrfa.org and we will provide them with a packet of the handouts.
Can my child’s daycare participate? Absolutely! We hope it will be a great learning opportunity.
What if we miss a week? No problem, once the activities are posted they will stay on the website. We anticipate there will be a week or two after the six weeks to make up any missed weeks.
When will the graduation event take place? Late August. It will depend on where we are at with COVID-19 and the number of participants.
