We have recently received a report that someone is soliciting funds by telephone, representing themselves as the Auburn Fire Department. These phone calls are not coming from the VRFA and we are not soliciting funds. These calls can be reported to the Federal Trade Commission at ftccomplaintassistant.gov or 1-877-382-4357 and/or to the Better Business Bureau at https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker/us/reportscam.
